The rules for using our barcode tools — what the Service does, what it deliberately does not do, and who is responsible for what.

The barcode tools are free and need no account. You are responsible for the values you choose to encode.
We claim no ownership of the data you enter or the barcode files you generate from it.
We cannot guarantee that any generated barcode will scan on your printer, stock or scanner. Test before printing at volume.
The Service renders barcode images. It does not issue UPC, EAN, GTIN or GS1 identifiers.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Bulk Barcode Generator (“we”, “us”) governing your use of bulkbarcodegenerator.dev and the barcode tools available on it (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
The Service provides browser-based tools that generate barcode images from values that you supply — by typing them, pasting them, or uploading a CSV or Excel file.
Barcode generation runs in your browser. See our Privacy Policy for detail on how your data is handled.
This section is important, and it is the part most likely to be misunderstood.
The Service creates barcode images from values you provide. It does not issue, register, license, verify or sell official UPC, EAN, GTIN, GS1, ISBN, FNSKU or music identifiers. To obtain official retail product identifiers, contact GS1 or your local GS1 member organization.
In particular, the Service is not:
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the values you encode are valid, that you are entitled to use them, and that they meet the requirements of any retailer, marketplace or standards body you deal with.
You must be at least 18+ years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You may use the Service for lawful personal or commercial purposes. You agree not to:
We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached.
You keep your data. We claim no ownership of the values you enter, the files you upload, or the barcode images you generate.
Barcode files you generate are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, without attribution to us and without any additional licence fee.
Because the values are yours, the responsibility for them is also yours — their accuracy, their legitimacy, and their suitability for the use you put them to.
The Service itself — including its design, layout, text, code and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo or branding except as necessary to use the Service normally.
Barcode symbologies themselves are open technical standards and are not claimed as our property.
Avery, Zebra, Rollo, Munbyn, Google Sheets, Excel, Amazon and other brand names are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Where the Service refers to a brand — for example describing a layout as an “Avery-compatible” sheet size or a “Zebra/Rollo-compatible” thermal size — that reference is descriptive only, to help you choose a compatible layout. It does not imply any partnership, certification or approval.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be limited.
This deserves its own section, because barcode output depends on factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee that any barcode generated by the Service will scan successfully on any particular scanner, printer, label stock, or point-of-sale system, or that it will be accepted by any retailer, marketplace, carrier or standards body. Print quality, scaling, contrast, quiet zones, label material, printer calibration and scanner configuration all affect readability and are your responsibility.
Print a sample, scan-test it with the equipment you will actually use, and confirm your printer is set to 100% scale or Actual Size — not “Fit to Page” — before committing to a full batch or a print run of label stock.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including any cost of reprinting labels, wasted label stock, rejected shipments, delisted products, or production downtime.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your use of barcode values or identifiers you were not entitled to use.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including adding or removing supported barcode types or export formats. We may impose limits on usage, such as maximum file size or row count, to keep the Service available for everyone.
We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service, although we will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes where practical.
The Service may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or that your use poses a risk to the Service or other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms as the Service changes or as the law requires. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will give more prominent notice.
Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
